On May 7, 2025, Professor Jiun-Haw Lee from National Taiwan University was interviewed by TaiwanPlus regarding the Global Undergraduate Program in Semiconductors (GUPS). As one of Taiwan’s pioneering international semiconductor education programs, GUPS was launched by NTU’s International College to address the global demand for interdisciplinary semiconductor talent.

During the interview, Professor Lee highlighted how GUPS combines academic excellence with industry alignment, offering courses in chip design, materials, and manufacturing—entirely in English—to foster cross-cultural collaboration and global employability.
